Tarot Reading on the Russian Military
the strength and discipline to control the power it holds

Another series of reading on BRICS because I feel like I should do an update of my reading from August 2022. And, back in September, I randomly shuffled and out of curiosity asked if there might be Full Mobilization in Russia. I got a yes and did not publish the result. I am mentioning this now because journalists are now talking about it and Western government seem keen on making Russia their enemy by calling it a ‘state sponsor of terrorism’. I will say that I think that LOGICALLY it does not make sense for Major Governments to start an all out war with each other because EVERYONE should know about the negative consequences that would bring. Therefore, full mobilization is Unlikely to me in a Logical sense. I am not going to do a reading on this because, as with ANY prediction practice, we see Possibilities and nothing is 100% absolute (except that all mortals die), there can be freak accidents, and upsets that change things in very unexpected ways.

Key Card to Current Situation, this Reading and In General
Pain. The pain and suffering of everyone and everything. Everything we have done to ourselves, to each other, to the world.
Pain can drive people to madness. It can hurt them beyond repair. But it can also make us stronger, and more durable, it can propel us to help others, to speak out, and to change things as we seek a more positive outcome, something that does not look as bleak as what we are watching unfold.
Pain can be an impetus to move forward. It can be a training tool to scare someone away from something, it can be used to manipulate and oppress others and prevent them from moving on.
Cutting open a Cocoon and indirectly killing the butterfly
I was taught in ‘white shamanism’ classes (the healing-only classes) that when we reach out to help or heal others, we should ask for permission because if we do not then we might harm others by preventing them from learning valuable life lessons and developing valuable problem-solving skills. However, people can learn life lessons and valuable problem-solving skills without going through horrendous situations. So we can help them, but we must also understand the difference between help that assists and uplifts others, and help that harms others by preventing their growth and development.
But to illustrate the importance of not being over-bearing, codependent, or condescending I will write about a story I heard from someone:
“A person saw a butterfly trying really hard to break out of a cocoon. The butterfly was having a really hard time so the person decided to help it by cutting open the cocoon. The butterfly fell and died as soon as it crawled out. That was because it did not develop the strength needed to fly. It needed to struggle through breaking the cocoon and grow stronger from it in order to develop the strength to fly.”
So sometimes we see someone suffering from the consequences of their actions. If we prevent them from “suffering” through the consequence, they do not learn and do not grow.
It is possible for people to learn without suffering through horrible situations. But removing all consequences will obstruct people from learning valuable life lessons. Particularly in the case of Responsibility and working in sync with a group, a system, or an environment.
Prioritizing Helping Ourselves
When we focus on helping ourselves, we grow stronger and are better able to help carry the burdens of others. If our own burdens are crushing us with their weight, we will already be sinking before we reach out to hold others. And who knows if they will sink with us.

Anything can happen but things are on the positive side (adding in all other cards in the reading)
Current Situation
They are working with what they know instead of learning new skills, which may be a distraction if they allocate resources improperly. There is a lot of work to be done and that is what they are focused on. There is also a moving away from ideals or perhaps a reassessment of what they had thought they wanted or could achieve. In general, The workload they have will be processed with practicality instead of idealisms.
Energy in Development
The system is already well organized from experience and tradition and will be working with the established hierarchy of command in the development and manifestation of their military ventures. There is a lot of stuff (military operations??) that will be coming to fruition.
Resultant Developments from Energy
The plan they have will be expanded upon with more branches or pathways. This may move away from what they had intuitively sought. The simple plan they had is becoming more complicated. They are moving into a more active state of doing instead of the passivity of having things done to them. The planning may become more aggressive.
Expected Outcome
Strength and Power. However, this power is binding with the dominance and fear that it brings. The sun shines on their military which basks in its nurturing light. There is a sense of harmony that allows it to flourish. Plants grow very well when the conditions are right. However, a garden must be carefully maintained lest the start to grow wild. And with the appearance of the Devil card, it reminds and warns us all to be wary of dealing with a military gone wild. (Grounding Card is the Emperor : the rule of Law & Order having Dominion over the military to keep it in line so that it does not go wild ie proper discipline)
The Crown of Power is heavy and crushing but the Strength card shows that they are strong enough to handle it, but it does require work to do so.
In my video I mentioned how Soft Power is stronger in the “Western Allies” ie the NATO countries and they can easily use media manipulation to paint their targets as ‘the Devil’. Political PR is a game with manipulative players at its core.
Variables of Change
Deep self-reflection from all parties involved. Reflecting beyond the self. The Hanged Man is upside-down, it asks “Can you see the other side? Can you look at the situation from a different perspective?”
Reflecting on whether the work they are doing is giving them a sense of fulfillment and security. The Happy Squirrel shows us that this work must be done, and they are locked into it like an obsession. But they can try and find or do work that makes them “happy” intrinsically.
In regard to the military, it could be military projects or actions that bring fulfillment after reflecting on the situation.
Message from Grounding & Crowning Cards
What pulls everything together is a Dominant System (Emperor : Law & Order) that strongly wields, controls, manages and directs the Power of Military Might.
What helps them move forward is emotionally withdrawing from the external world to focus inward. This brings emotional perspective that helps to maneuver through the emotional tug of soft power and distractions.
In my video I mention that I interpret this as a sense of sanctuary from the chaos. Because the Crowning Card is the 4 of Blooms/Cups and not the 4 of Swords. The 4 of Swords symbolizes rest, but one can not rest in a the middle of an active conflict. So instead, a sense of inner sanctuary can help bring reprieve from the chaos. Allowing us to have some form of stability that keeps things under control so they don’t go wild and crazy (Devil Card).
Extra cards’ message
They are showing the world what they are capable of and it brings recognition along with exposure from which they can not withdraw. A blossoming recognition can being many political benefits. Being so exposed prevents them from quietly deciding or moving without disturbances.
